Article 4 AI Literacy

The duty to ensure sufficient AI literacy among staff.

Explanation

Article 4 of the EU AI Act requires providers and deployers to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy for everyone who works with AI systems. The standard depends on prior knowledge, the context of use and the people affected. In practice the duty also runs under the name AI training obligation under the AI Act. Proof of content, participants and results is practically indispensable.
